PURCHASE & SHIPPING TERMS
We would like you to read our Purchase & Shipping Terms carefully to ensure that you are fully aware of your rights when purchasing items (Items) via the Billy J website (our Website).
Your order signifies your agreement to be bound by these Purchase & Shipping Terms, which constitute the agreement between Billy J Boutique (A.B.N. 58 625 631 450) (we, us, our, or Billy J) and you.
PURCHASES
You must provide complete and accurate details at the time of making your purchase. You may be required to provide additional details upon our request to ensure the accuracy of your order.
You must enter the correct delivery address and delivery instructions at the time of placing your order. If you enter an incorrect address, Billy J is not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our own expense. If you submit your order and then realise that you have entered an incorrect delivery address or delivery instructions, please email [email protected] immediately and we will do our best to update your details before your order is dispatched.
PURCHASE PRICE
All prices quoted on the website or pursuant to your enquiry with us are in the currency where you are located, and exclude GST.
The actual amount that you are charged for your purchase will depend on the international currency conversion that you are charged via your bank.
We reserve the right to vary the prices displayed on the Website from time to time and without notice to you.
Our prices do not include insurance or any secondary attempts to deliver Products to you.
PAYMENT
Billy J accepts payment via Amex, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Zip Pay and Afterpay.
After you make payment for your order, you will receive a transaction confirmation email, which confirms receipt of your order.
In the event that Billy J does not receive cleared funds after 48 hours of you submitting your order, we will email you at the email address nominated in your order to communicate about your payment.

Please note: If you fail to make a payment, you will be charged a late payment fee by AfterPay. Please see below -
- For each Order of $40 or below, the total Late Fee payable is one Late Fee capped at 25% of the Original Order Value.
- For each Order above $40, the total amount of Late Fees payable is the lower of 25% of the Original Order Value or $68. Up to this maximum Late Fee cap, AfterPay will charge an initial Late Fee of $10, and a further Late Fee of $7 if the payment remains unpaid 7 days after the due date. AfterPay may charge partial amounts of the initial $10 Late Fee and the subsequent $7 Late Fee to remain within the maximum Late Fee cap.

Normal return conditions apply to Afterpay purchases. If you wish to return an item, you will be issued a credit for the whole balance of the item minus postage, and will continue to make payments to AfterPay until the item is paid off.
If you return an item that is faulty, simply lodge your return through the return portal and notify our team. Once the item is returned to our warehouse we will notify Afterpay to release the payments you made back into your nominated account.
SECURITY
We recognise that protection and safety of information relating to your credit card is very important. Therefore, we provide you with a very safe and stress-free online shopping experience.
We do not store your credit card details at any time so consumer confidence and satisfaction is assured at all times.
PROCESSING OF ORDERS
We process purchases on business days, which are Monday to Friday and exclude public holidays in Queensland, Australia. If you purchase any of the items on a non-business day, we will process the purchase on the next business day.
Please allow 24-48 hours to dispatch your order. Most orders placed before 1pm will be sent the same day, however, there can be unexpected delays. Please email us if you require your item to be sent immediately and we will do our best. Due to the high volume of orders that come in over the weekend, orders placed on a Monday will typically be sent Tuesday but again, we will do our best to send it the same day
We will provide you with a tracking number once we have shipped your order to you.
ORDER VALIDATION
If your order has been flagged as suspicious in our system for any reason we may ask for validation before shipping the order. This may include forms of identification such as a license or bank statement (covering all confidential information). This is sometimes also the case for orders of a high value (over $500).
PICK UP
We now offer the option to pick up your order from our warehouse. We are located in Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast. Please email our customer service team to arrange a time to collect your parcel. You will need to include your order number and name. If postage has been paid this will be refunded once your order has been collected.
DELIVERY TIME
Delivery times will depend on your postcode. Domestic delivery is typically 1-2 business days express - but can be longer for remote areas. All parcels are shipped domestically with Australia Post.
Parcel to the US take approximately 4-7 business days for standard post, and 3-5 business days express.
Parcels to NZ take approximately 2-3 business days express.
Other international parcels typically take 4-7 business days express. Again delivery time depends on how fast customs clears the parcels once they arrive in your country. This is out of our control. We send all parcels internationally with DHL, however this can be forwarded onto other 3rd party couriers.

SAFE DROP
Please note: All orders sent within Australia are SAFE DROPPED. If you would prefer to sign for your parcel please email our customer service team and they will amend your order. All international deliveries must be signed for unless requested otherwise.
SHIPPING
Order pick-up
Orders are collected from 1/32 Hoopers Road Kunda Park Qld 4556. A collection time needs to be arranged by contacting our customer service team on [email protected]
Within Australia
All our parcels are sent via Australia Post.
The above delivery service includes tracking but does not include insurance.
Parcels will be left via safe drop if shipped with Australia post, and a signature is required should your parcel be shipped via Dragonfly unless specified otherwise in writing by the customer.
International
Please see our shipping page for shipping destinations outside of Australia
Shipping will be via DHL express, and in some cases can be forwarded to a 3rd party courier.
International customers are required to pay all sales tax, duty and/or customs charges.
All taxes and customs charges will be your responsibility and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge. Taxes and customs charges vary depending on the Country and State of your shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that may be relevant to you. Billy J is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested or charged during the shipment of your order.
DELIVERY TIME FRAMES
We cannot guarantee delivery times. However, you should receive your delivery within the following time frames: (note: business days)
Australia (metropolitan areas) - Express - usually next business day;
Australia (regional areas) – between 1 and 3 days;
US - Standard - 4-7 business days;
US - Express 3-5 business days;
NZ - Express - 2-3 business days;
Other international - Typically 3-7 business days.
However, there may be times where shipping will take a little longer. Sometimes international orders can take longer if the item takes longer to process through customs. Unfortunately this can not be controlled. If you have not received your Items within our designated time frames, please email us your full name and order number and we will investigate on your behalf.
We do not offer refunds or compensation for orders received outside these times. Delays are rare, but can happen unexpectedly. We will do our best to fix any issues that may arise in regards to your orders being delivered.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
Billy J may cancel your order if for any reason we are unable to provide you with the Items subject to your order. We will contact you should this occur.
You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek compensation for any loss, expense or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result from such cancellation.
If a customer chooses to cancel an order for any reason prior to the order being shipped, a credit note will be issued for the balance and the postage price refunded. A refund on the items will not be issued.
ITEMS MISSING IN TRANSIT
Billy J is not responsible for parcels that are lost or delayed in transit due to the fault of Australia Post, DHL or other delivery carriers - we will trace your parcel on your behalf and do everything we can to locate your parcel, and lodge an investigation if required. By purchasing from Billy J you are accepting these terms. If an item goes missing we will do the best we can to lodge a claim on your behalf and compensation through the carrier.
ITEMS MISSING FROM AN ORDER
Should any item be missing from an order, please email [email protected] and include the following information: Your order number and an image of your parcel, our team will then investigate.
In the rare occasion where there is an inventory issue and we are unable to supply an item that has been ordered we will refund you immediately. If you purchased this item with a credit note, your refund will be placed back onto your credit note. The rest of your order will be sent within the appropriate time frame and cannot be cancelled.
FAULTY ITEMS
Please check your item over carefully upon receiving it. If there are any faults the item can be sent back to be assessed by our returns department. If the item is faulty you will be refunded in accordance with your consumer rights. Your postage will also be covered should this be the only item you are returning. As per our standard returns policy, we are unable to accept returns on items that have been worn, washed, or have had their tags removed. By completing your purchase, you agreed to these terms. Please note, this does not exempt you from your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
RETURN OF ITEMS
Any return of Items to us by you will be governed in accordance with our Returns Policy .
PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
All discount codes for sale periods must be added at checkout. Refunds will not be given if the discount code is not added correctly. Please ensure it has activated before checking out. Our system does not allow for partial refunds if the code is not entered.
GIFT CARD/CREDIT NOTE POLICY
If an item was purchased using a Gift Card/Store Credit and has been returned due to a manufacturing fault, the customer will be re-issued a Gift Card/Store Credit for the balance. The customer will be refunded any extra expenses they may have incurred (for example postage). If there is an Inventory Issue with an item on your order and we are unable to fill it for any reason and you have purchased using a Gift Card/Store Credit, the Gift Card/Store Credit will be re-issued for you to purchase something else.
CONSENT
By agreeing to these Purchase & Shipping terms, you also consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to the Billy J business, including information relating to items, competitions, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message. Of course, you may contact us at any time to unsubscribe.
GOVERNING LAW
The laws of Queensland, Australia govern these Purchase & Shipping Terms.
